Manon Robert (pronounced Man-o Ro-bare) or "M.J." as some know her, is an internationally acclaimed French Canadian Pianist/Vocalist hailing from Montréal Canada.

Manon began taking music and singing lessons at the age of 4. By the time she was 7, she added in piano lessons that continued through High School. Manon obtained a college degree in Social Science, but considering her passion for music she went back to get a second degree in Music (Piano) at École de Musique Vincent d'Indy in Montréal Canada. Three years after obtaining her degree and fresh out of McGill University, still in music (piano major) Manon began working as an accompanist for various singers, but she wanted to express herself with the music she loved, so she decided to start performing as a solo artist.

In the late 80's, through the use of technology, Manon began performing as one of the few "female" solo pianist/entertainers on the circuit. By the 90's Manon was in great demand performing in and around the gorgeous resorts in the Laurentians north of Montréal. Her career was taking off, as she toured throughout Eastern Canada for politicians, international companies, dozens of private events, television talk shows and even appearing in various films.
In 2000 Manon shifted gears when Renaissance Cruise Lines approached her to entertain for them in Tahiti. Manon became a commodity at Sea and soon she was in demand by the cruise industry entertaining for Holland America, Costa, Norwegian, Celebrity, Princess, Regent and even the Legendary Cunard Line on its famous Queen Mary 2. Working with various show bands her "Cabaret Act" became a show stopper and a favorite by passengers. In 2003, Manon finally found some time in her busy schedule to record her first CD, an independent release simply entitled "Manon". The CD was met by a very enthusiastic and appreciative fan base.

Though Manon will always be a Québécoise, she now calls South Florida home. Manon is as comfortable entertaining masses in auditoriums, as she is sitting at her piano singing old favorites for seniors. Jeans or evening wear, show band or solo, Manon Robert is definitely something special -
Entertainer Extraordinaire'!
